Miles Hyman is an internationally known illustrator.

Miles Hyman was born in Vermont and first studied drawing while at the the Buxton School in Williamston, Massachusetts. He studied painting in the south of France and upon graduating Wesleyan University returned to France to study drawing with Henri Clement at Paris Ecole des Beaux-Arts His drawings were first published by the French underground comics Futuropolis. The prestigious graphic arts magazine, Bat, named Hyman as one of the top 10 creators on the European arts scene. Hyman still works extensively in Europe and the United States and in 1990 the Palis de Tokyo, a French National Museum in Paris, hosted a one-man show of his work. Broadway Chicken, one of Hyman’s picture books, was selected as one the year’s ten best children’s books by The New York Times, and was among Good Morning America’s holiday selection of books for children.
