Ever since I can remember I loved to draw. And ever since I was a little girl I wanted to be a fashion illustrator. After graduating from the Academy of Art in San Francisco I was a fashion illustrator until I met my husband, artist Peter Kitchell and moved with him to the boonies of Western Massachusetts, where I still live 18 years later with Peter and my kids Sonya and Max.
Once in Western MA. I began to expand my horizons into pretty much anything that would lend itself to my loose line type of drawing. Over the years I have broadened my horizons to include not only illustration, but also general design & logo design. I'm most happy when I get to work on projects that make me feel as if the work I'm doing is actually helping or changing something, it's my way of being able to make a difference.
